Here's an interesting article about women who have their ovaries removed at a younger age, experience an increased risk for dementia among other things. Another reason for women to keep their ovaries and other parts :p Granted, there are valid reasons to remove female body parts but there are probably far more times where are body parts are wacked off. Not cool.

I considered having my ovaries removed after my mother was diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer at age 55. That was several years ago. I still think about it from time to time.

wow thats really scary to me. i had my left ovary removed at age 11, (before menstruation) because it twisted on itself and turned gang green- i am a little frightened to think that i know stand a 75% chance of Parkinson's- and also my mother and grandmother had the same things, (at older ages)
