You have quite the way with words....but yes....it does warm our hearts.
My midwife said the same thing (phrased a little differently) during the pre-natal classes, and that really helped me overcome the embarrassment of pooping during labour : "they are HAPPY that I'm pooping - it means that the head is coming"

This saying made me laugh out loud. I stole it and put it on my Facebook yesterday as a new saying I heard that I loved. Please don't sue.
