Yeah, my mom still fondly remembers her required pubic shave before delivery -- NOT!!! She said it was humiliating when it was done, and then horribly scratchy afterwards, when trying to recover from vaginal birth -- the knock 'em out kind, so also assuming the drag 'em out kind, so I'm assuming that I and my siblings were all forceps births -- so we're talking an episiotomy recovery with full pubic shave and then full growing back in. Um, no thanks -- I'll pass!
and have you also noticed she offers a teen bikini wax??? Does this doc actually do any ob/gyn or has she switched her Santa Monica practice to all spa services?

So glad I am on the East Coast....
But Ciarin, it's one of the best pieces of advice you can give a pregnant woman. It says so on a doctor's site!
