Are you serious?
This has very little to do with safety and much to do with preconceived notions of women with tattoos.

Have you seen women with back tattoos told they couldn't have an epidural?
And forgot to answer your question - nope, never seen our CRNAs refuse to do an epidural on someone with a back tattoo.
Oh good!! :)
And I'm glad no one has ever denied anyone an epidural because of some back ink.
